Mr. J.M. Joshi is a self-made man. For over 3 decades, he has been continuously engaged in experimentation with perfumery blending. He started working in the family trade at the age of 15 due to the untimely demise of his father. It was his passion to introduce new versions of flavours, to be used in chewing tobacco, pan masala, agarbatti, mouth freshener, etc. Through innovation, intense research and development, Mr. Joshi had helped to introduce brands like PanShahi, Santoor, Manikchand, Star, Goa, Vazir, Sitar, Sikandar, etc.

JM Group (now known as the JMJ Group) was founded by Mr. J. M. Joshi in the year 1995 with a personal Perfumery Blending Section. The Founder and Chairman of the JMJ Group of Companies, Mr. J.M. Joshi, himself is a well known master blender of edible perfumery compounds, which are largely used in chewing tobacco, pan masala and agarbatti industries. Mr. Joshi also established a Unit for manufacturing unique and monopolistic essential oils by extracting Attars through Well-known conventional method of hydro-distillation process.

Mr. J. M. Joshi has been awarded with a Patent for a Process of Manufacturing Mouth Refreshing Preparation by the Patents Office, Government of India, Mumbai. He is also the Founder Chairman of All India Tobacco and Pan Masala Manufacturers Association and a Life Member of the Essential Oils Association of India.
